A touchscreen-controlled media center built for a car onboard PC, delivering intuitive in-car entertainment through a sleek, touch-first interface. Designed for quick access to music and media while driving, the UI focuses on large controls, clear navigation, and minimal distraction for a safer, more enjoyable ride.
Developed in Flash using ActionScript 3 (AS3), the project was completed in under three weeks, demonstrating rapid prototyping and efficient implementation without sacrificing polish or performance. The application is optimized for responsive touch input and smooth media playback on automotive-grade hardware.
The media center integrates directly with the Omnifone MusicStation ecosystem, leveraging existing Omnifone web services for catalog browsing, search, streaming, and account management. This backend integration enables seamless access to a vast library of tracks and playlists while keeping authentication and metadata synced with the MusicStation platform
