Schreckhornhuette / Grindelwald
Hiking up to the Schreckhorn hut is a dramatic alpine experience: the mountain hut sits at about 2,600 m, perched above the remnants of the glacier, with sweeping views of jagged peaks and ice-carved valleys. The trail climbs steadily, rewarding hikers with increasingly panoramic vantage points and the solemn sight of where the Grindelwald glacier once flowed.
