Thailand 2003

Thailand in 2003 offered the perfect backdrop to relax and recharge after a long stretch of work. From the bustling streets of Bangkok to the palm-fringed beaches of the Gulf and Andaman coasts, the trip balanced culture, cuisine, and pure downtime.

We started in Bangkok, where vibrant street life, golden temples, and incredible food awaken the senses. Then it was off to Koh Samui for laid-back beaches, coconut trees, and sunset views that make it easy to unwind. The Phi Phi Islands delivered crystal-clear water and excellent snorkeling, while Krabi’s dramatic limestone cliffs and quieter bays added a sense of adventure.

Island hopping tied the whole journey together — short boat rides between Koh Samui, the Phi Phi Islands, and Krabi felt like flipping through postcard-perfect scenes. Days were spent swimming, snorkeling, exploring small coves, and simply doing nothing at all, exactly what you need to recharge.
