I took a short trip to Hong Kong and Taiwan to reconnect with old friends and dive into the local food scene. The itinerary was tight but perfectly focused on two things I love: vibrant cityscapes and unforgettable street food.
In Hong Kong I met Dickson and immediately fell into the rhythm of the city. I wandered through neon-lit streets and glassy skyscrapers, snapping too many photos of the skyline. Between quick bites at street stalls and the buzz of the harbor, the city’s energy made every corner feel photogenic.
A short flight brought me to Kaohsiung, Taiwan, where I met Joy and spent evenings roaming famous night markets and waterfront seafood restaurants. The aroma of grilled seafood, sizzling snacks, and tiny dessert stalls made Kaohsiung a paradise for food lovers. Each market stall offered something new to try, from fried specialties to fresh catches served right by the sea.
The trip was brief but unforgettable: great company, fantastic Taiwanese cuisine, and plenty of moments worth photographing. Whether you’re into travel photography, street food, or city skylines, Hong Kong and Kaohsiung deliver a compact, delicious travel experience.
